From Passion to Professionalism
MRH Concrete & Services was officially founded in January 2021 as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in New York. However, our story began long before that.
Mark’s Journey
From Labor to Leadership
Mark Hennings, the founder of MRH Concrete, always had a passion for working with his hands. Starting in high school, he worked weekends, nights, and vacations with various construction companies, gaining hands-on experience in excavation, general construction, and—his favorite—concrete work.
A Leap of Faith
While working full-time in excavation and construction, Mark often encountered projects that required subcontracted concrete work nearly 10 years ago. Recognizing an opportunity, he started handling smaller concrete jobs himself. With every project, his skills sharpened, and his love for concrete grew.
The turning point—stamped concrete
After participating in stamped concrete projects, Mark was captivated by the artistic and technical aspects of the process. Determined to master this craft, he took on his own stamped concrete project, instantly falling in love with the art.
MRH Concrete is Born
As word spread, local homeowners began requesting stamped concrete work almost non-stop. The demand quickly outgrew the time available outside of his full-time job, making it clear—it was time to go all in. In 2021, Mark took the leap and founded MRH Concrete & Services, bringing years of expertise, craftsmanship, and passion to homeowners and businesses across Herkimer County, Little Falls, Ilion, and surrounding areas.
